Community needs assessment of Sristi Village

Sristi Village is a self-sustaining village which provides education and livelihood opportunities to boys with intellectual disabilities. The Village was established by Sristi Foundation which runs several projects aimed at ensuring the beneficiaries live dignified and self-supported lives. Rotary Club of Madras East was seeking to support Sristi Village by providing solar power, transportation facilities, sanitation, a water tank as well as skill training for teachers.

AuxoHub was engaged by Rotary Club of Madras East to assess the strengths, challenges and needs of Sristi Village as required under the Global Grant application by communicating with key stakeholders. At the end of the assessment, AuxoHub submitted a comprehensive assessment form and an analysis of key findings from the study. The project was subsequently approved for funding through the Global Grant.
